Spanish, Portuguese & Southern Mediterranean Tapas

A lovely 1 bed cottage to rent in Ulverston

This newly converted cottage aims to provide you with all the comforts of a loving home, but with an abundance of style that lets you know you’re being treated somewhere far away. The property is split up over three floors, with a bespoke kitchen diner on the ground floor, an open plan living room with window seats, a log burner and a TV for relaxing. Then the top floor provides the bedroom with large en-suite bathroom that’s quirkily decorated to offer a truly unique stay.

It is a 75-metre walk from the first cluster of pubs and eateries, but as legend has it, Ulverston was once known for the most pubs to population ratio, so there’s also many more to choose from a mere stone’ s throw away. Ulverston benefits massively from being on the back door of the Lake District, whilst still retaining its integrity as a local town that certainly punches well above its weight.

Ulverston is known for the start of the Cumbrian Way, the world-famous Manjushri Buddhist temple, the huge annual Dickensian festival, Another Fine Fest in the summer, and the Lantern Procession plus many, many others – it’s actually referred to as the ‘Festival town’ regionally!
