L’al Churrasco has grown from a two-man operation built on a shoestring, into a ten person strong team of committed individuals in its first three years.
Our food and drink provision continually improves as we grow the team, buy new equipment and establish our procedures. We’re eager to reach our potential, the road ahead is long yet a positively fruitful and creative one.
We are staunchly proud to be a successful independent restaurant in an increasingly chain-led industry.
Although we do not over publicise this, L’al Churrasco has strong ethical motivation and we’re proud of the actions taken to minimise our impact on the planet.

Ulverston is an amazing town full of quirkiness and festivals, but sadly was lacking in the fresh food restaurant scene. With such an abundance of produce on our doorstep and a growing demand for casual-dining and responsible food sourcing, the L’al Churrasco idea was born.
Our menu is constantly evolving to reflect seasonal changes and the beauty of a tapas style food is that there’s always something for everyone. You can call and speak to one of our knowledgeable team members before dining with us if you would like further information.
Vegetarians are well catered for, and eco-conscious customers will be happy to know we’re the only restaurant in the area with a solid focus on responsibly sourced, local produce.
Our flavour profiles have strong roots in Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, but also range from Morocco to Israel.
